ELIGIBILITY
FULL MEMBERSHIP
UKinbound Full Membership is open to all UK companies and organisations who satisfy the following criteria.
They have derived, for a they have derived, for a period of no less than two years prior to the date of their application for Membership, a substantial income from the provision of tours and tourism services within the United Kingdom, to incoming tourists whether directly or through intermediaries.
Are properly incorporated or constituted.
Have been properly Proposed and Seconded (see Appendix A) by two Full Members and had their application publicised to all Full Members.
Are accepted as Full Members by the Membership Committee who shall, at their discretion, follow the guidelines in Appendix A to this Constitution and which may, from time to time, be amended.
Have paid the joining fee and annual subscription, or relevant part thereof. Membership shall become effective on receipt of payment but shall be deemed to start on the date of acceptance.
PROVISIONAL AND START-UP MEMBERSHIP
Companies who are new to the inbound industry and cannot show a record of income from the provision of tours and tourism services within the United Kingdom may become start up members. This membership will also include companies who have traded for less than two years.
Start up members will pay an annual subscription fee as set by the Executive Council.
Start up members will receive industry information and advice as determined from time to time by the Executive Council and may attend UKinbound meetings and events
Start up companies may not vote at any UKinbound Meeting or UKinbound election.
Start up companies may not display the UKinbound logo.
The Members Directory of UKinbound will not list start up companies.
Start up members may apply to the Membership Committee for full membership status when the relevant membership requirements have been satisfied and substantiated.
In all other respects the conditions for Full Membership shall apply
Full Membership status will apply once the Provisional Member has fulfilled the relevant membership requirements.
