A tourism industry business is seeking an Administration and Marketing Executive to join their team and fulfil this newly created role. This is an ideal job for an Administrator, Event Executive or Marketing Executive who is looking for a job in travel that plays a pivotal role to a department’s success. The job has an element of event creation and attendance, and gives the chance to champion the company’s important work, therefore a confident individual with a flexible approach is required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Being the the first point of contact on the phone and via emails
  • Keeping the CRM database fully up to date and ensuring a timely response is given to all correspondence
  • Being accountable for utilising social media (Facebook and Twitter) to raise awareness and improve engagement with the travel industry
  • Developing promotional material and thriving in creating newsletters and updating the website (CMS)

The ideal candidate will: 

  • Have strong administration skills
  • Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Be flexible to attend events
  • Have a passion for online marketing
  • Have a friendly and personable approach to all communication
