Scottish Tourist Guides Association welcomes new guides

The Scottish Tourist Guides Association (STGA) is delighted to welcome 21 newly qualified Blue Badge Guides. The Blue Badge Guide Course takes 18 months to complete and the new guides are now professionally qualified to guide throughout Scotland. 

To meet the demand for professionally trained tourist guides in Scotland, the STGA is running another two Blue Badge Guide Courses. One class will graduate in April 2026 and another class will start their journey in August 2025, graduating in the spring of 2027. 

Scottish Tourist Guides Association wish to congratulate Andy McCluskey, Brian Farrell, Claudia Vasto, Dan Sauder Tyler, David Ferrard, Gavin Barclay, Gavin MacDonald, Heather Boardman, Jim Scobie, Juan Bermejo, Karen MacBean, Keith McQuaid, Léa Masciocchi, Michael Crawford, Mathilde Marcoux, Michael Moore, Nina Boyd, Sarah Stinear, Simon Bendle, Paul Banister, pictured at their graduation on Tuesday 22 April at Cowane’s Hospital, Stirling, alongside STGA Honorary President Sandy Maxwell-Forbes, Director of The Great Tapestry of Scotland, and members of the STGA training team.
