Kynren has been named a finalist in two major categories at this year’s North East Marketing Awards.
Produced by 11Arches, Kynren, has been shortlisted for ‘Not for Profit Campaign of the Year’ for its 2025 campaign Kynren – An Epic Tale of England, while Marketing Coordinator Freya Askew is a finalist for ‘Rising Star of the Year’.
The awards, which celebrate creativity, innovation and impact in marketing across the North East, will take place on Thursday 4 December at the Vertu Motors Arena, Newcastle.
The nomination reflects Kynren’s continued success in promoting one of the region’s most ambitious visitor attractions, drawing tens of thousands of visitors each summer to Bishop Auckland and contributing significantly to local tourism and regeneration.
Chief Executive Anna Warnecke said, “To be recognised alongside so many brilliant North East organisations in two separate categories is tremendous recognition for all the amazing people who make Kynren such a unique and magical experience. Our campaigns are rooted in a love for this region and a belief in its creative energy, and these nominations are testament to the passion and skill of our team – including rising talents like Freya. “
