Catherine Warrilow from The Plot has released the Visitor Attraction Rail Trip Report, an independent insight into the last year for UK visitor attractions. The report highlights how visitor needs have shifted, what’s currently resonating with audiences, and what attractions are doing differently to stay relevant and resilient.
Following a nationwide rail journey last October, the report captures real conversations with 13 attractions, along with survey data submitted by operators and suppliers across the sector. The result is a story-driven snapshot of the industry’s challenges, changes and bright spots. Attractions featured in the report include Royal Liver Building 360 Tour, Marsh Farm, The Mary Rose and The Alnwick Garden.
Catherine Warrilow, founder of The Plot, commented, “This project has been a labour of love, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who welcomed me, shared honestly, and helped create something so valuable for the sector. It’s long, yes – but it’s real, detailed and deeply human.”
