London Transport Museum announces Art Deco exhibition

London Transport Museum will open its doors after hours on Friday 20 March for a special Museum Late inspired by its major new exhibition, Art Deco: the golden age of poster design. It explores the enduring influence of the Art Deco style through a display of original transport posters, photography, short films and ceramics

Visitors can enjoy exclusive access to the exhibition and the Museum’s galleries at this adults-only evening. Guests will also have the chance to explore the Museum’s collection with a drink in hand, join in on craft workshops and dance classes, and enjoy live music performances.

The evening will feature Art Deco headdress making, Charleston dancers from SwingDanceUK, a 1920s–30s dance class, and live jazz by Filippo Ieraci and Giovanni Cresseri. Guests can enjoy cocktails on tap, explore historic buses, trams, and a vintage 1938 Art Deco Tube train, try driving an Elizabeth line train on the simulator, and discover vintage posters, early Underground maps, and classic designs from the collection.

Tickets cost £21.00 and are available to over-18s only, with concessions also available. Please click here to book your tickets.
