Tolbooth Tavern Launches New Season of Live Music Nights

The Tolbooth Tavern, part of Lomond Leisure Group, has launched its Live Music Nights, beginning this March. These evenings will showcase some of Scotland’s most talented traditional and folk musicians in an atmospheric, centuries‑old venue.

Kicking off the season is Euan Johnston, performing on Thursday, 26 March 2026 at 9:00 pm. Guests are invited to enjoy an evening of live traditional music in the warm, character‑rich surroundings of the Tolbooth Tavern, located within the Canongate Tolbooth building dating back to 1591. Each Live Music Night ticket includes a welcome Ben Lomond Gin or Loch Lomond Whisky, courtesy of Tolbooth Tavern’s partners at the Loch Lomond Group, ensuring an authentic Scottish experience from the moment guests arrive.

These music nights form part of the Tavern’s growing lineup of cultural events designed to celebrate Scottish heritage through food, drink, and live entertainment. As a venue known for its traditional Scottish fayre, such as Cullen skink, haggis stacks, and freshly landed fish and chips, paired with a rich selection of local ales, whiskies and gins, Tolbooth Tavern continues to be one of Edinburgh’s most cherished destinations for locals and visitors alike.
