Fam Trip: Imperial War Museums – HMS Belfast

FULLY BOOKED

We are pleased to invite buyer members to a Fam Trip at HMS Belfast, kindly hosted by Imperial War Museums on Tuesday 7 July 2026.

Step aboard HMS Belfast and discover a different side of life at sea, one shaped not just by duty and discipline, but by ritual, camaraderie and traditions. As you move through the ship with an expert guide, you’ll hear real stories of the sailors who lived and worked here, from the Arctic convoys to D-Day, and discover how everyday rituals helped sustain morale in some of the toughest conditions. At the heart of the tour is the daily rum ration. Learn how this long-standing naval tradition shaped life on board, bringing crews together in a moment of pause each day. Then, take part yourself – raising a tot and joining a ritual once shared by every sailor on board.

Serving as its official debut, Imperial War Museums are launching a brand-new private tour, available exclusively through the travel trade – giving buyers the unique opportunity to be the very first to experience and promote it. Designed with DMCs, tour operators, and wholesalers in mind, this product will initially be offered as a private tour rather than an FIT option, ensuring strong commercial potential and flexibility. Imperial War Museums also welcome interest from other qualified buyers.
