Up at The O2 unveils Summer Sessions

Up at The O2 will launch ‘Summer Sessions’, a Friday night climb featuring sunsets, a live saxophonist, and skyline views of the capital.

Taking place on Friday 17 and 24 July, and Friday 14 and 21 August, Summer Sessions climbs will commence at 7pm, 7:30pm and 8pm each event night, timed for golden hour. Climbers will begin their adventure at base camp before embarking on a guided ascent over The O2’s roof, where there will be panoramic views, live music, and party vibes.

Included in the Summer Sessions ticket, climbers will enjoy a live performance by a saxophonist playing to a soundtrack of classic summertime tunes and be treated to a refreshing beverage, Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold & Pepsi Max, to enjoy at the summit (non-alcoholic options also available).

Priced at £45 per person, tickets include extended time on the roof, giving climbers even more time to enjoy the atmosphere and capture the golden hour shots of the capital from 52 metres above ground level. O2 and Virgin Media customers can also enjoy 20% off when booking via Priority. With just 25 spaces available per climb, Summer Sessions is suitable for those aged 18+, advance booking is strongly advised to secure your spot on the roof.

The O2 is home to over 30 bars and restaurants, from evening bites at Gordon Ramsay Street Burger or KFC, to drinks at Wetherspoon in their onsite beer garden. For the activity seekers, there’s also a range of attractions and interactive experiences to enjoy, from Cineworld, to BOOM BATTLE BAR with axe throwing, darts, mini golf, and more, alongside interactive football gaming at TOCA Social.

Daytrippers can also shop over 60 brands at up to 70% off RRP at Outlet Shopping at The O2, including adidas, Kate Spade New York, Nike, The Cosmetics Company Store, and the newly opened Søstrene Grene. It is located just 15 minutes from central London and easily accessible by tube, road, or boat.
