Blenheim Palace announces summer events & activities

Blenheim Palace, the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Oxfordshire, has a new programme of events and activities. Visitors to Blenheim Palace between 25 June and 1 September 2026 can take advantage of the Great British Summer Savings with reduced admission prices across all ticket types. Blenheim Palace’s line-up features world-class art, entertainment, music, food, history, and the great outdoors.

Standout exhibitions at Blenheim Palace include Life Through a Royal Lens (12 July–27 September), which features more than 100 of the royal photographs taken, alongside intimate images offering a rare glimpse of the Royal Family away from official duties. Another highlight is Dinosaurs Are Forever (11 August–1 November), an exhibition created in partnership with Future Fossils that showcases five full-scale dinosaur sculptures by artist Jay Jay Burridge, bringing prehistoric creatures to life.

Visitors can enjoy the gardens this summer by following the floral highway with native wildflowers from the Rockery to the Chute borders, along Churchill’s Walk, amongst the Cherry Avenue, Rosarium, along the Crab Apple avenue to The Temple of Flora and out into the Arboretum. Throughout August, visitors can also meet a Victorian Explorer in the Formal Gardens.

Until September, there will be a monthly series of exclusive Formal Gardens Watercolour Workshops led by acclaimed Woodstock artist Rod Craig, set against the backdrop of the Gardens. Visitors can explore the historic Gardens and Parkland – from the majestic Water Terraces and hidden winding pathways of the Secret Garden to the sweeping lakeside views designed by Capability Brown.

Blenheim Palace is home to one of the most extensive collections in Europe, including portraits, furniture, and sculptures. Amongst the treasures are the famous Marlborough Tapestries, the ‘Victories Series’. There’s also the magnificent Long Library, lined with more than 10,000 books, many of them hundreds of years old.

Within Blenheim Palace, visitors can experience the opulence of dukes and duchesses within the Family Treasures collection and by joining the daily Duke’s Tour, before discovering the life of Sir Winston Churchill. Visitors can step back in time to uncover the stories of those who kept the Palace running smoothly in the Life Below Stairs experience – with butler and maid actors making it even more memorable from 12 July.

Armchair Talks (Next Talk: Tuesday 23 June at 18.00)

Usually on the last Tuesday of the month, at 6pm, The Stables Café hosts an array of interesting talks by guest speakers from across Blenheim Palace and the surrounding Estate, providing a great insight into the work that makes this UNESCO World Heritage Site special.

Seasonal highlights at Blenheim Palace include the Blenheim Palace Flower Show (19–21 June), where visitors can explore floral displays in the Floral Pavilion and Floral Street, while meeting expert growers and talented floral artists. The summer programme also features the Blenheim Palace Festival (June–July), a new six-day music festival headlined by Katy Perry, Teddy Swims, Pete Tong, Alanis Morissette, and Michael Bublé. Bringing together global superstars, award-winning performers, and emerging talent, the festival promises an unforgettable entertainment experience.

Visitors should note that these events take place on selected dates and times, and some may require separate admission tickets. Visitors are encouraged to check the official Blenheim Palace website for full details. Guests can also take advantage of Summer VAT Savings, which reduce admission prices, as well as Klarna split-payment options on ticket purchases over £100. Every ticket purchased supports the ongoing care and conservation of Blenheim Palace’s historic buildings, artworks, and landscapes, helping to preserve Britain’s Greatest Palace for future generations.
