A Rolls-Royce used by Queen Elizabeth II will be on public display on the forecourt of the Palace of Holyroodhouse, part of the Royal Collection Trust and the official residence of the monarch in Scotland, as part of celebrations marking the centenary of her birth in 2026.
The car, a Rolls-Royce Phantom VI Chassis, will be on show to all visitors to the Palace until Thursday 10 September. It coincides with the opening of the private apartments used by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip when in residence at the Palace, which are accessible by guided tour for the first time this year, for a limited 100-day run.
The Palace of Holyroodhouse has reopened. For more information on Royal Collection Trust, click here.
