The Orangery at Blenheim Palace offers functionality and luxury for bespoke events. Located on the Oxfordshire UNESCO World Heritage Site, the space is a backdrop for all business needs.
Accommodating up to 150 guests for seating and up to 250 for standing drinks receptions, it is suited for conferences, company anniversaries, awards ceremonies, celebratory gala dinners, summer parties or exclusive events.
The Orangery provides a versatile and bright space with appointed interiors and a private terrace overlooking the South Lawn and Duke’s Italian Garden. For bespoke events, the adjacent space opens onto an Italian Terrace, which overlooks the private Italian Garden.
In 2024, The Orangery underwent a £2 million renovation, believed to be the first of its type to be carried out on a Grade I Listed building, in which the glass ceiling was replaced with a timber and slate structure in the spirit of Sir John Vanbrugh’s original design.
Within Blenheim Palace are a number of versatile locations suitable for ceremonies and receptions, including the Marlborough Room, the Great Hall, the Saloon and the Long Library, as well as several outdoor locations. The venue and dining experiences feature locally sourced ingredients, using fresh fruits and vegetables from the Palace’s own kitchen garden
Matching the service to the backdrop and over 300 years of history, there is a dedicated team of experienced event planners who take great pride in their attention to the finest details. The Blenheim Palace team are experienced in putting together bespoke packages to ensure that your event runs smoothly.
The Orangery can be booked in conjunction with the adjoining campaign rooms, as part of the Orangery Complex package available. Prices and bespoke events can be discussed by contacting the Hospitality team here.
