UKinbound is delighted to invite you to Discover Windsor, the next event in our series of Discover Workshops, taking place from Sunday 16 to Monday 17 of September in association with Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead.
With the stunning global TV coverage of the royal wedding in May, Windsor’s visitor season couldn’t have got off to a better start! In the region of 2 billion people around the world were glued to their screens, whilst well in excess of 100,000 people made their way to the town on the day to celebrate and experience the amazing atmosphere. VisitEngland has since reported that Windsor is the most popular day visit destination outside London!
During the event, UKinbound will run a half-day workshop offering pre-scheduled B2B meetings providing the opportunity to develop business relationships with local suppliers. There will also be an opportunity to participate in fam trips showcasing The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead.
The proposed itinerary is as follows*:
Sunday 16 September
12:15 Depart London Paddington
13:00 Check in to hotels and Hosted Lunch
15:00 Fam trips – to include:
- Guided walking tour of Windsor.
- Private Evening Tour of Windsor Castle.
- Dinner aboard Bateaux Windsor’s The Melody
Monday 17 September
Morning – B2B workshop at Windsor Guildhall.
08:30 – Registration
09:00 – Welcome presentations
09:45 – 1:1 meetings
12:45 – Lunch
Afternoon
13:45 – Fam trips – to include:
- The Original Tour (Bus Tour of Windsor)
- The Savill Garden and Visitor Centre
- Tour of Windsor Great Park

Tour Operator delegates are invited to attend Discover Windsor FREE OF CHARGE, (please note: A £50 refundable deposit will be taken to secure your attendance.) attendees will be provided with one night’s accommodation free of charge together with complimentary return travel to and from London Paddington International courtesy of Great Western Railway.
