We are delighted to invite buyer members to our 2026 Discover Workshop in Worcestershire and the Cotswolds, delivered in partnership with Visit Worcestershire, CotswoldsPlus and VisitEngland.
Set in the heart of England, Worcestershire blends rolling countryside, historic towns, landscaped gardens and welcoming villages, offering a quintessential English experience in a serene and often-overlooked setting. The county’s rich heritage includes the final battle of the English Civil War in Worcester and stories of royalty, engineering and creativity that continue to shape its appeal. Worcester Cathedral, the burial place of King John, remains a landmark of national significance. The Malvern Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, inspired literary and musical greats and provide a haven for walkers. Visitors can enjoy picturesque villages such as Broadway in the Cotswolds and a range of hands-on experiences, from butter churning to vineyard tours. The programme includes a two-and-a-half-day familiarisation trip followed by a B2B workshop with regional suppliers.
We look forward to welcoming you to Worcestershire and showcasing their experiences.
Programme:*
Sunday 15 March
Buyers Worcestershire itinerary begins with a direct GWR train departure from London Paddington to Great Malvern. Upon arrival at the Grade II listed ornate station, enjoy a brief walking tour of the Victorian spa town to understand its heritage, stunning natural beauty of the Malvern Hills, its famous spring waters and its rich cultural history connected to composer Edward Elgar and authors C.S. Lewis and J.R. Tolkien. The day continues with a visit to Morgan Motor Company, one of Britain’s longest established motor manufacturers and still present in Malvern after over 110 years. The visit includes a fascinating factory tour to see the hand-crafted workmanship that goes into a Morgan which is designed and built to be as individual as its owner. Lunch will also be served at Faun café, recognised for its artisanal, fresh locally sourced food. Buyers will then head to your base for the trip, Stanbrook Abbey Hotel, a former monastery for a community of Benedictine nuns. The day will conclude with a fun interactive pottery experience, before an informal dinner at the Abbey, alongside learning the story behind a local gin supplier.
Monday 16 March
The second day of your experience takes us into the Northern Cotswolds starting at Broadway Tower for stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside; up to 16 counties from England’s second-highest Cotswolds point. Next, you will head into Broadway village itself and explore on foot the picture postcard high street and some charming hidden gems off the main thoroughfare. A visit to the town would not be complete without a trip to Broadway Museum, to discover the former 17th Century coaching inn and its new traditional butter churning experience, before guests enjoy lunch at the historic Lygon Arms Hotel. Boasting over 1,000 years of royal history, the afternoon continues onto Sudeley Castle located in the market town of Winchcombe, followed by a brief visit to Tewkesbury Abbey, before returning to Stanbrook Abbey for an evening of local wine tasting paired with a hosted dinner.
Tuesday 17 March
UKinbound will run a half-day workshop offering pre-scheduled B2B meetings and a networking lunch to provide the opportunity to engage with local suppliers from Worcestershire and the Cotswolds.
The 3-day trip will conclude with a final stop into Worcester city before returning home. A quick photo opportunity at the iconic Worcestershire Sauce factory couldn’t be missed, followed by a visit into the centre of the city for a whistle stop tour of the impressive Worcester Cathedral with almost 1000 years of history. A short walk across the way to the Museum of Royal Worcester, will complete the visit before heading to Worcester train station for your return journey back to London.
