We are delighted to invite all members to our Edinburgh Castle Members’ Networking Evening on Thursday 6 September kindly hosted by Historic Environment Scotland at Edinburgh Castle.
A mighty fortress, the defender of the nation, and home of the famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo – Edinburgh Castle has dominated the skyline for centuries and is part of Edinburgh’s World Heritage area. Today the castle is one of Scotland’s most popular places to visit, attracting 2 million visitors annually. Highlights include the Honours of Scotland (Crown Jewels) the One O’Clock Gun, St Margaret’s Chapel, military prisons and the Great Hall.
Historic Environment Scotland (who operate the Castle) offer group rates, private tours, afternoon teas and room hire. Audio guides are available and the Castle boasts three shops and two cafes.
