England’s Literary Greats and US Connections Fam Trip

THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED!

We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming England’s Literary Greats and US Connections fam trip. Join us on this overnight fam trip to sample the new itineraries in Portsmouth, Winchester and Chawton.

US Connections (Portsmouth)

The US connections project brings to life the historical and cultural connections between the two nations. New touring and modular itineraries have been developed for the US market, focusing on tested themes including D-Day and the Special Relationships, United Allies and Old Stories of the New World. The project invites you to visit Portsmouth to sample some of the experiences in the new US Connections itineraries including the new D-day Story museum where using real objects and vehicles, stories, interactives, and amazing audio visual displays, the museum tells the story from preparation and planning to D-Day itself and the Battle of Normandy through to the legacy gallery, home to the incredible 83 metre long Overlord Embroidery.

England’s Literary Greats (Winchester and Chawton)

The Discover England Fund – Englands Literary Greats project has been working with three of England’s cities famous for their literary legends and world renowned stories to develop new themed itineraries relating to authors, books, films and characters. The project invites you to sample one of these itineraries and to walk in the footsteps of Jane Austen in Winchester and Chawton. Immerse in the places and landscapes that she spent the majority of her years and inspired the author to write her famous novels including Pride & Prejudice and Sense & Sensibility.
