We are looking forward to welcoming members to our upcoming Regional Members’ Networking Evening on Thursday 8 September 2022, kindly hosted by Mercat Tours and The Intercontinental Edinburgh The George.

The Intercontinental Edinburgh The George has been a grand hotel since 1881 and nestled in the UNESCO World Heritage area of the beautiful and cultured city of Edinburgh is a collection of fine Georgian townhouses that make up the InterContinental Edinburgh The George. Proud of the connections with literary legends such as Robbie Burns, Sir Walter Scott and Scotland’s answer to Jane Austin, Susan Ferrier, invite you to be inspired by the charming character in their rooms, gardens and enchanting hospitality.

Attendees will have the chance to experience a tour with Mercat Tours prior to the Networking Evening. At Mercat, they’ll take you deeper into the past than a bus tour or guidebook ever could. In the words of our Storytellers, they bring the city’s stories alive in rich, engaging detail. And whether you choose one of our history or ghost tours, you’ll see a side to Scotland’s capital that most visitors miss.

The Members’ Networking Evening is a free event for members to attend, network and meet other members. Please note, places are limited to TWO people per member company.

How to book: An invitation has been sent to members, if you haven’t received it and would like to register for this event, please contact the team at [email protected].

Please note that places are limited for this FAM TRIP and priority will be granted to Tour Operators first. Should any spaces become available for supplier members, these will be assigned on a “first come, first served basis” and confirmed a few days before the event takes place.
Any cancellations must be received in writing at least 48 hours prior to the event. Places are limited to TWO people per company.


Due to high demand and the limited availability of Members’ Networking Evenings, UKinbound has implemented a No Show and No Cancellation Policy whereby members who do not attend an event they have signed up for without cancelling will be sanctioned.
