Visit Cairngorms Destination Update and Virtual Fam Trip


We are delighted to invite tour operator members to our upcoming Destination Update and Virtual Fam Trip hosted by Visit Cairngorms.

Join us for a blast of fresh, Scottish Highland air as we zoom you around the stunning Cairngorms National Park, the largest in the UK, home to wildlife, wildland, rivers…

From adventure to luxury to feeling like a King (or Queen!), we will give you a taste of how you can ‘Make It Yours’ for your clients.

We’ll immerse you in nature at the much-loved Rothiemurchus Estate, in the heart of the Scots Pine Forest, with breathtaking views of the mountains. Then we’ll make a stop at the majestic Blair Castle, home to the UK’s only private army. Finally, we’ll take the SnowRoads, stopping at the Park’s luxurious five-star hotel The Fife Arms.

While we are disappointed not to actually have you with us, this virtual tour will pique your senses.

Delegates will be sent some locally sourced items in advance, which will bring the experience to life even more and make you feel as if you are here, until your group really can be.

You will also hear from VisitCairngorms on how we can help shape your clients’ itineraries and will have the opportunity to ask any questions directly to the team.

After the event, attendees will be sent a destination update handout and 2021/22 rate card containing itineraries and contact details of travel trade ready suppliers in the local areas.

There are a very limited number of places for this event, and therefore will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.  As with our in-person fam trips, this event is free for tour operator members. Sample packs containing some interactive samples will be posted to each delegate ahead of the event; to ensure sufficient time for this, booking must close at 17:00 on Wednesday 16 March 2021.

Please note that this event is for TOUR OPERATOR MEMBERS ONLY and restricted to ONE representative per member company. If more than one person registers from the same company, the additional booking will be added to a waiting list. If this is the case with your booking, we will let you know that you have been added to the waiting list and that we cannot confirm your place unless we receive some cancellations prior to the event.

Any cancellations must be received in writing on or before Wednesday 16 March 2021. In the case of non-attendance on the day or cancellation after the above date, a £25+VAT charge will be applied to cover costs incurred. No refunds are available after the above date but a substitution attendee from your organisation would be accepted.
