Join us as Iain Terry, Trade Sales Marketing Manager for Royal Collection Trust takes us for a very special preview of preparations for Christmas at Windsor Castle, before the Press! Whilst preparations are underway to festoon the Castle ready for visitors to return on the 3 December, our exhibitions and curatorial team will talk you through the twinkling lights, garlands and shimmering Christmas trees we use to celebrate the festive season. Amongst the highlights will be the magnificent 20-foot Nordmann fir tree in St George’s Hall, taken from Windsor Great Park, and a special Christmas display in the State Dining Room, part of the Semi-State Rooms that are only open to visitors during the winter. Your Christmas preparations won’t be complete without a viewing!

As with our in-person fam trips, this event is free for tour operator members. You will also hear from Julia White, Visitor Manager, at Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead on their plans for recovery and will have the opportunity to ask any questions directly to the team. After the event, attendees will be sent a destination update handout and 2020/21 rate card containing contact details of travel trade ready suppliers in the local areas.

Any cancellations must be received in writing on or before Tuesday 24 November 2020. In the case of non-attendance on the day or cancellation after the above date, a £25+VAT charge will be applied to cover costs incurred. No refunds are available after the above date but a substitution attendee from your organisation would be accepted.
