We are pleased to invite members to our upcoming four-part ‘AI for Inbound Tourism Professionals: Workshop Series’.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is already transforming how travellers research, plan and book their trips. For inbound tourism businesses, AI presents significant opportunities to save time, enhance marketing, streamline operations and improve the visitor experience. Inbound tourism is a global industry, and the use of AI is accelerating worldwide. Businesses that begin building these skills now will be better positioned for future growth.
In partnership with Christian Watts and Magpie Travel, this workshop series is designed for tour operators, DMCs, accommodation providers, attractions, and other tourism businesses who are considering enhancing their visitor experience and offering AI. Similar training modules delivered by Christian for the Australia Tourism Export Council have received excellent feedback.
Why attend the workshop series?
- Learn how AI tools can reduce the time spent on research, content creation, presentations and routine communications.
- Discover how to create compelling visual content, presentations and campaign materials without requiring specialist design skills.
- Explore how AI can support itinerary creation, customer communication and multilingual engagement.

TESTIMONIALS:
“I attended Christian Watts’ AI education session delivered for ATEC members and found it both accessible and commercially grounded. He engaged a diverse audience spanning operators, OTAs and travel technology providers, and avoided hype in favour of practical frameworks that members could apply in their businesses. Importantly, Christian linked AI capability to broader distribution shifts and the persistent ‘single source of truth’ challenge facing the travel industry. I would confidently recommend Christian for other industry forums.”
– Peter Shelley, Managing Director, Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC)
