Heritage Guides is inviting UKinbound members on a fam trip of their new daily public walking tour of Edinburgh’s Old Town, in partnership with Vox City Group.
This curated two-hour experience takes visitors into Old Town Edinburgh, meeting the characters of the city, from the iconic sights of the Royal Mile to the Kirk of Greyfriars.
Now running daily, this tour follows a carefully crafted route through Edinburgh’s Old Town, taking in the atmospheric Lawnmarket beneath the Castle, St Giles’ Cathedral, the Writers’ Museum and City Chambers, and the Greyfriars Kirkyard, including the Covenanters’ Prison and the city’s darker past.

Tickets are priced at £22.50 per person for this two-hour tour, which runs daily from 11:00am to 1:00pm and departs from outside Castle Rock Café at 453 Lawnmarket, Edinburgh, EH1 2NT. The route involves moderate walking, though adjustments can be made where possible, and visitors are encouraged to get in touch in advance to discuss accessibility requirements.
The experience includes a professional guide, guided access to Greyfriars Kirkyard, live commentary available in English, French or Spanish, access to the Edinburgh city audio tour app in English, and a 15% discount on Edinburgh Gin Distillery experiences.
