After two years of renovation, The National Gallery’s iconic Sainsbury Wing is due to reopen on Saturday 10 May 2025. Visitors can expect a transformed space and an ambitious re-hang of the collection.
CC Land: The Wonder of Art showcases new stories of western painting and a complete redisplay of the collection for the first time in a generation. There are also new dining options available, which include Bar Giorgio’s for an authentic Italian espresso, or Locatelli – the latest restaurant venture from Michelin-starred chef Giorgio Locatelli.
New shops will also be open for visitors to browse on the ground floor and mezzanine level, featuring exclusive ranges only available in the Sainsbury Wing.
