Hovertravel is adding to its portfolio of experience flights with the new Sands Experience. Building on the popularity of its classic experience flights, the Sands Experience focuses on the hovercraft’s unique amphibious abilities.
Ryde Sands is a vast stretch of tidal sandbanks, extending over two miles off the coast of the Isle of Wight. Located to the north of Ryde, this area is revealed at low tide and is a natural wonder that provides a perfect backdrop for demonstrating the hovercraft’s capabilities. This experience has been timed and scheduled to specifically showcase the hovercraft’s seamless transition between land and sea, offering passengers a different perspective of the Solent.
