Bodmin Jail unveils Brick History exhibition

Bodmin Jail has announced a LEGO® exhibition, Brick History, running from 24 June to 8 September 2026. Brick History invites visitors to explore thousands of years of world history through a collection of LEGO creations.

Created by LEGO artist Warren Elsmore and his team, the exhibition takes guests on a journey through the people, events and inventions that shaped the world. The experience includes ancient civilisations, Viking invasions, moon landings, the fight for equality, and scientific discoveries.

Visitors will discover models including Concorde, Titanic and a medieval castle measuring over 1.5 metres wide, complete with scenes of both everyday life and historic conflict. Every display is filled with craftsmanship, storytelling and surprising details. Themes include The Arts, Conflict, Equality, Exploration and Transport, and Brick History. Visitors can also discover how LEGO bricks have been used to reimagine the past in a fresh and engaging way.
