Brigit’s Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tours are welcoming visitors back on board with new safety measures and the VisitEngland We’re Good To Go accreditation in place.

The guided bus tours of London take place on original 1960s Routemaster buses, which have been adapted with separate seating booths with COVID-19 safe perspex screens and new sanitising stations. Drinks will continue to be served in brand new reusable cups which guests are encouraged to take home after the tour, although refills will be done one at a time to reduce risk for cross contamination.

For the time being, the bus tours will run at reduced capacity to comply with social distancing guidelines, and a one-way boarding and seating system is in place to minimise close contact between guests. Staff will wear masks and disposable gloves, and guests are required to wear masks when boarding but not during the tour. In accordance with contact tracing requirements, each lead guest will be required to have full contact details for each member of their party.

Brigit’s Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tours start from £45 per adult and includes a 90-minute guided tour of cultural landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St. James’s Park, Royal Albert Hall, Downing treet, and more. Guests will enjoy an array of sandwiches, cakes and pastries with a cup of tea, or with a selection of Slingsby Gin and Tonics on board the Gin Lovers Afternoon Tea Bus Tour. This summer Brigit’s Bakery will be launching a new Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tour for families which will include sing-a-longs and activities, and a themed Peppa Pig afternoon tea menu.
