Digipanda Marketing is set to launch a new marketing campaign targeting Chinese students coming to the UK in 2019.

Partnering with UKUNI, an online social community covering around 120,000 Chinese students across the UK, the campaign will produce a City Guide and a 2019 Freshman’s Guide which will be distributed both online and in print to Chinese students who are expected to arrive over the summer months.

The City Guide will provide information specific to a particular city, such as London or Manchester, while the Freshman’s Guide will be distributed across the UK.

Around 2,000 Chinese students are set to attend one of five pre-departure briefings held in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wuhan, at which they will receive a print copy of the guides, while digital versions will be distributed via UKUNI’s WeChap account and social community. The total circulation is expected to reach 70,000.

Managing Director Edward Teng said, “The Chinese student population is the best bridge that links UK businesses and the Chinese market. UK businesses can insert a discount voucher as an advert into the guides with a validation period to cover Chinese Golden Week from 1 to 7 October, when many parents may come to visit their children in the UK.”
