Digipanda Marketing has enhanced its marketing offering for businesses targeting Chinese visitors by launching WeChat Pay and Alipay ads. The banner ads will appear beneath each ‘payment complete’ message that is delivered to WeChat Pay and Alipay users on completion of a purchase.
The ads are targeted at Chinese visitors already in the UK, and to those still in China who have made pre-bookings with a UK business via WeChat Pay or Alipay.
This new marketing channel follows the launch of Digipanda’s collaborative marketing solution Panda Card at the end of 2018, which is aimed at the Chinese FIT market. The Panda Card takes the form of an online directory and combines the resources of member companies in the UK to market collectively to China – a promotional strategy identified in a recent study by Qa Research as being particularly effective for this market.
