Edinburgh Executive Travel gains cyber accreditation

Edinburgh Executive Travel has been awarded the Cyber Essentials Plus Accreditation. The accreditation focuses on five technical controls: Firewalls, Secure Configuration, User Access Control, Malware Protection, and Patch Management.

To be accredited with Cyber Essentials Plus, EET was audited by an accredited assessor to ensure their devices and software were set up securely, restricted access to authorised users, used appropriate anti-malware tools, and had up to date software. This differs from Cyber Essentials, which uses self-assessment to verify these controls.

James Ritchie, Founder and Managing Director of Edinburgh Executive Travel said, “We are proud to be awarded this accreditation, as it is a benchmark for our security and signifies the care we have for our clients.”
