Evan Evans Tours has added a fourth fully electric, Harry Potter-themed double-decker bus to its fleet, expanding its sustainable sightseeing offering in London. The new vehicle will operate services to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter.
The company’s five-year sustainability policy, How We Tread Right, contributes to its parent company, The Travel Corporation (TTC)’s goal of reaching net-zero emissions by 2025. To achieve their verified science-based near-term, long-term, and net-zero targets, Evan Evans is reducing emissions and prioritising decarbonisation through the use of zero-emission vehicles. The company now operates four electric vehicles daily, year-round. According to TTC’s 2023 Impact Report, this shift to electric vehicles has avoided 88 tonnes of carbon emissions compared to using diesel alternatives.
