Visit Wales Year of Trails 2023-24

Visit Wales is celebrating Llwynbraw. Wales by Trails in 2023 and 2024, aimed at helping visitors discover the best of Wales, from forgotten treasures to adventure activities.

Whether it’s heritage or walking trails, literary or music trails, or restaurant and distillery trails, there are many opportunities for the travel trade to present existing trails as well as new tours and itineraries using the theme and incorporate it into marketing collateral. The theme will enable visitors to journey through Wales’s most iconic outdoor, cultural, food and drink destinations and experience UNESCO World Heritage Sites, castles, and much more. Emphasis is on all kinds of trails, such as Cultural, Creative, Heritage as well as outdoors and the diversity of experiences will be showcased throughout.

The DMO is encouraging the tourism industry across Wales to embrace the theme, which will provide a chance to spotlight the country’s touring and adventure products, the landscape and nature, providing potential hooks for operator itineraries.

The “Llwybrau. Wales, by Trails” industry guide, logo guidance and high-quality images are available for the travel trade to download and use.
