Two of Scotland’s top visitor attractions, Forth Boat Tours (voted Best Activity Day Out in Scotland in 2019) and the award-winning Falkirk Wheel have launched a new joint ticket. The new ticket, which is available to the travel trade, includes the Forth Boat Tours Three Bridges Cruise and an Original Tour on the Falkirk Wheel.

Alastair Baird, Forth Boat Tours Sales and Marketing Manager said, “This is a fantastic new joint venture with The Falkirk Wheel. This is the ideal ticket for coach groups and educational groups and includes adventure, history, scenery, and marine wildlife. The ticket is available all year round and is the perfect match in any itinerary.

“The tourism sector has had to endure some challenging times and the new ticket is a statement about our confidence in the future. Our priority is always to provide a fantastic customer experience and to ensure our customers and team can feel safe. We have reduced our tour group sizes and put our COVID-19 plans in place, and we are ‘Good To Go’. Tours can be booked in advance via Forth Boat Tours or The Falkirk Wheel, and customers are advised to book with plenty of notice due to the restriction in numbers.”

Ross McMillan, Destination Manager at The Falkirk Wheel said “We are delighted to launch this joint venture with Forth Boat Tours, bringing some of the central belt’s most iconic sights together for tourists and locals alike.

“Ideal for any travel itinerary, this new ticket combines the epic engineering of The Falkirk Wheel with the sights and history of the Firth of Forth. Whether visiting in one day or staying longer, the ticket offers the flexibility that benefits both travel trade and individuals.

“Safety is a top priority for us, and in light of COVID-19 seat numbers on trips are limited – we advise booking early to avoid disappointment.”
