Gourmet Garden Trails announce travel trade initiatives

The Gourmet Garden Trails of England – the Discover England Fund project led by Go To Places has announced a series of initiatives and resources for the travel trade.

Gourmet Garden Trails comprises a series of tourist trails showcasing England’s gardens and food and drink offering, and aims to inspire the travel trade (and consumers) to experience the many bespoke and immersive experiences of gardens and food and drink across England. The trails cover five regions including Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Peak District & Derbyshire, and Cheshire.

Each region has its own unique offering and must-see sights, and this brochure details how the trade can work with Gourmet Garden Trails to widen the selection of product offerings available to customers, including coast foraging courses, vineyard trails and head gardener tours. The trails combine each region’s best food and drink with the must-see sights, from discovering the castles and seafood of the coast to wandering the rugged beauty and manicured gardens of the countryside.

Bookable experiences for the five regions are being constantly updated with new products, images and content – images, video and content around the Gourmet Garden Trails are now available via the online trade hub. An online travel training course has also been developed to help product and sales teams to find out more about the product, and learn more about each region’s best offerings,  including best accommodation, gardens, events and practical details about getting around.

Tour operators who are interested in finding out more about the Gourmet Garden Trails are encouraged to contact Alanna Kite at Go To Places.
