Hebridean Island Cruises launches Lord of the Highlands programme

Hebridean Island Cruises has launched the 2027 collection of voyages for its 38-guest ship, Lord of the Highlands, featuring signature journeys through the waterways of the Caledonian Canal and the Great Glen and the Highlands and islands of Scotland, a selection of themed cruises and four new itineraries.

The 2027 programme, which embodies slow travel, features 23 itineraries of six or seven-night durations between April and October. Lord of the Highlands will spend the 2027 season navigating the waters of the Caledonian Canal and exploring the Inner Hebrides, offering a rare way to explore the Highlands at an unhurried pace.

Seven themed cruises that explore Scotland’s most compelling stories, from gardens and wildlife to historic castles and the legacy of the Jacobite Uprising. These cruises will feature guest speakers who offer insights that bring each destination to life.

Purpose-built to transit the historic locks of the Caledonian Canal and following a multi-million pound rebuild in 2021, the 38-guest Lord of the Highlands is the latest addition to the Hebridean Island Cruises’ fleet. The elevated upper deck affords views as guests dine in the Caledonian Restaurant or relax in the Panorama Lounge with a drink from the bar.
