Hebridean Island Cruises has announced the release of its complete 2026 sailing schedule. Guests can now book voyages aboard the fleet of three boutique Scottish ships around the Western Isles of Scotland and the Caledonian Canal.
The Hebridean Island Cruises fleet comprises three unique vessels, each offering a bespoke journey through Scotland’s breathtaking landscapes
- Lord of the Glens. Following a recent refurbishment, Lord of the Glens will continue to primarily serve the groups and private charter market, but a limited number of sailings are available for general sale. Its six and seven-night itineraries both feature a full transit of the iconic Caledonian Canal, alongside excursions to Oban and the Isle of Mull. Seven-night voyages further extend to include the Isle of Skye, Inverie, and the legendary Eilean Donan Castle.
- Hebridean Princess. The elegant and intimate Hebridean Princess will offer voyages ranging from four to nine nights between March and November 2026. Departures are available from Greenock, Oban, or Invergordon. The 2026 season also boasts an enticing array of themed cruises, catering to diverse interests such as golf, lighthouses, nature and wildlife, art and architecture, wine and food, gardens, cycling, and walking. Select cruises will feature distinguished guest speakers, including renowned travel writer Simon Calder and nature presenter Kate Humble.
- Lord of the Highlands. The latest addition to the fleet, Lord of the Highlands, was meticulously rebuilt to navigate the historic locks of the Caledonian Canal following a multi-million-pound investment. In addition to regular transits through the intricate inland waterways of the Caledonian Canal and the idyllic Inner Hebrides, the 2026 schedule includes two adventures to the northern outposts of Orkney. Themed cruises on the Lord of the Highlands will focus on wildlife, historic Scottish castles, walking, and the very best of Highland food and drink. Guests can also look forward to presentations from guest speakers, including former BBC news presenter Michael Buerk.
Ken Charleson, Managing Director of Hebridean Island Cruises said, “Hebridean Island Cruises remains committed to delivering unparalleled service and immersive experiences that showcase the very best of Scotland’s natural beauty and rich heritage.”
