Historic Environment Scotland have announced the reopening Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots.

Visitors can try out the brand-new downloadable audio guide, featuring the site’s royal history and stories of palace life. Bookings for Linlithgow Palace are now open through Historic Environment Scotland’s booking system.

Surfaces inside the palace are mainly stone slabs and small cobbles in the courtyard. The ticket office, shop and courtyard are accessible to visitors with disabilities. More mobile visitors should be able to access the first floor which forms the main part of the property. Access is available to Linlithgow Loch and extensive peel (park).
