Following the sell-out success of its inaugural event in 2017, KidZania London, the indoor-city run by kids, has announced the return of KidPreneur for 2018. The day long festival will celebrate young entrepreneurship and inspire the next generation of innovators and business leaders.

KidPreneur, which will take place on Saturday 13 October 2018, will see a panel of young entrepreneurs take over the city. Families visiting KidZania during the KidPreneur festival can attend Q&A sessions in the Theatre with each of the talented young business leaders, who will share real insights into how they started their business ventures and their personal journey to success, as well as imparting tips to kids on how to make their business dreams a reality.

The Q&As will be followed by a series of interactive workshops, where children can get hands on with the KidPreneurs to develop their business and entrepreneurship skills; spanning everything from fashion design to building video games.

This year’s KidPreneur panel will feature Tommy Mallet, CEO of Mallet Footwear; Louise Leolin, CEO of DinoByteLabs; Jenk Oz, CEO of iCoolKid; and Rose Dyson, CEO of Pura Cosmetics.

The workshops will give children an opportunity to try their hand at designing their own trainers with Tommy Mallett, create their own gaming world with Louise Leolin, learn how to kickstart their own business ventures with Jenk Oz, and have a go at marketing and selling cosmetics with Rose Dyson.

Rajesh Agrawal, Deputy Mayor for Business said, “This festival for young entrepreneurs is about discovering and nurturing the next generation of London’s business talent. It’s so important to encourage youngsters to develop exciting, innovative ideas, which could have a big impact on how we live and work in the future.”

Eddie Kemsley, CEO of KidZania London commented, “We had an overwhelmingly positive response to KidPreneur in 2017, so we are delighted to be hosting the festival again this year. The entrepreneurs we are working with for 2018 are all hyper-talented and we have so much admiration for them and all they’ve achieved in their young careers. They are proof that great business thinking can be nurtured and developed at any age, and that’s really the message we’re trying to deliver with KidPreneur. By providing access to these incredible coaches, we really hope to inspire the next generation, giving them key skills to take forward for their own future careers.”
