Liverpool FC to launch abseil challenge

Liverpool FC

Liverpool Football Club is set to launch a brand new, adrenaline-filled adventure this February, giving fans the opportunity to experience the Anfield Stadium from 100ft.

Liverpool Football Club’s Harvey Elliott joined teammates, Diogo Jota and Calvin Ramsay, to officially launch this thrilling new addition to the Reds’ iconic home ground – The Anfield Abseil. The midfielder urged supporters and thrill seekers to get involved and sign up now to drop themselves more than 100ft down the side of the stadium’s 21,000-seater main stand.

The trio were also joined by Liverpool Football Club staff, who were the first to take part in the new challenge that allows visitors to experience Anfield Stadium from a completely different perspective.

Starting in February 2023, visitors and fans can experience the thrills and sights as they abseil over 100 foot down the Main Stand, stopping halfway for a unique opportunity to touch the huge Club crest, and enjoy panoramic views of the city of Liverpool, its iconic landmarks, the River Mersey and beyond.

The experience also includes free entry into the Liverpool Football Club Story, the club’s museum home to over 130 years of LFC history and all the silverware including the European Cups.
