London’s IFS Cloud Cable Car is being transformed into a special festive experience this winter. Every Thursday and Friday evening from 13 November until 19 December, passengers can book ‘Cable Car-aoke’ and perform their favourite songs while soaring above the Thames.
Thanks to a partnership with Time Out, groups can book their own cabin, which will be transformed into a private karaoke booth with microphones, party lights, a speaker and a playlist of 1,000 songs.
Joe Scheinkonig, Head of Operational Business Development at TfL, said, “We’re excited to sprinkle some festive cheer over the IFS Cloud Cable Car this season! Where else can you belt out Mariah Carey classics with your mates while soaring above the Thames in your own private karaoke cabin? It’s a one-of-a-kind way to celebrate, sing your heart out, and soak up the views of the city’s skyline – all at once.”
As well as Cable-Car-aoke, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the cable car experience this winter. The Glass Floor Experience offers a 360-degree view of the city from 90 metres above the Thames, while customers wishing to celebrate Christmas in a more relaxed way might enjoy the cable car’s Champagne Experience. Tickets include fast tracked entry, plus a glass of Champagne or a soft drink to enjoy before taking to the skies to soak up some spectacular views.
