Longbow Venues receives 4-star AA Gold accreditation

Longbow Venues in the Peak District, has had three of its properties awarded the prestigious AA 4 Star Gold accreditation: The Maynard in Grindleford, The Ashford Arms in Ashford in the Water and The George in Hathersage were recently assessed by the AA. This recognition highlights the consistently outstanding service and exceptional guest experience delivered across these venues, all set within one of England’s most celebrated landscapes which is 75 years old this year.

Together offering 52 rooms, the trio provides an ideal base for visitors exploring nearby landmarks such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the picturesque village of Bakewell. Guests also benefit from immediate access to scenic walking and cycling routes, with guided experiences available to enhance their stay.

These achievements build on the success of The Peacock at Rowsley, another Longbow Venues property, which already holds 3 AA Rosettes and offers 15 individually styled rooms in the village of Rowsley.

Longbow Venues has won numerous awards for its food offering and now they have been given the accreditations that recognise their stature as premium hotels and inns. Collectively, the portfolio reflects Longbow Venues’ commitment to quality, comfort and memorable hospitality in the heart of the Peak District.

Managing Director Rob Hattersley said the AA 4 Star Gold recognition reflects the team’s dedication to exceptional hospitality, consistency, and creating memorable guest experiences across Longbow Venues every single day.
