Longbow Venues secures Coeliac UK accreditation

Longbow Venues has secured Coeliac UK accreditation for four of its venues across Derbyshire and South Yorkshire. The latest venues to achieve accreditation are The Ashford Arms in Ashford in the Water, The George in Hathersage and The Peacock in Owler Bar. Their success follows the accreditation of The Maynard in Grindleford last year.

Each Longbow Venues property is known for combining fresh, locally sourced ingredients with welcoming hospitality. The accreditation from Coeliac UK recognises the work undertaken by the teams to develop menus that cater safely and confidently for guests with coeliac disease, while still delivering the high standards of food the venues are known for.

Rob Hattersley, Managing Director of Longbow Venues and himself a coeliac, said that offering excellent dietary options has always been a key priority for the business. He explained that the company aims to use the very best local produce to create memorable dishes for all guests, regardless of dietary requirements. He added that achieving accreditation is an important acknowledgement of the hard work and dedication invested in menu development and kitchen procedures across the group’s venues.
