Alton Towers Resort will transform into the ultimate home of Halloween this October as its award-winning Scarefest returns for 2019 with live entertainment for all ages and even more new attractions. Open until 9pm each day, guests will be able to enjoy rollercoasters and attractions in the dark including Wicker Man and the Alton Towers Dungeon. A new chilling scare maze, The Attic: Terror of the Towers joins the award-winning line up of live-action mazes for thrillseekers, inviting the foolhardy to climb up to The Attic and discover the horrible through of the ‘The Governess’.

Fright Nights returns to Thorpe Park to reawaken visitors’ darkest nightmares and push their fear endurance to the limit and survive eight attractions, including two brand new live-action horror experiences. Visitors to Chessington World of Adventure Resort on selected dates between 12 October and 3 November can enjoy a spine-chilling Halloween fun for all the family. Families can work together to untangle the web of lies with brand new attraction Spyders or experience the award-winning Creepy Caves Unearthed, Chessington’s scariest attraction yet. The Halloween season will also see the return of Trick or Treat Wood, ideal for younger visitors, as well as the Haunted Howl’o’ween Live Show where families can dance with werewolves, jive with ghouls and waltz with the witches. There will be also a series of spooky animal shows, daily fancy dress competition, as well as rides in the dark.

Throughout the October half term, families are invited to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort for Lord Vampyre’s Brick or Treat Halloween party. Families can enjoy a wide range of activities including the brand new Creepy Cobweb Castle, the Monster Rocker’s Dance Party, the Brick or Treat trail, a costume competition, live shows and more. All rides will operate as normal, with new addition Haunted House Monster Party ride joining the lineup. Other themed activities include a LEGO & DUPLO Pumpkin Patch, Miniland Ghost Takeover, and a LEGO Sea Monster build in the LEGO Reef.

Visitors on 19, 20, 25, 25 & 26 October and 1-2 November will also be able to experience a spectacular fireworks show with special brick glasses that turn the fireworks into exploding LEGO bricks.

From 19 October to 3 November Warwick Castle will transform into The Haunted Castle this Halloween, as ghosts and ghouls take over the historic building. Families can join a host of bizarre characters throughout the day for fun, games and spooky shows at the Dead Centre Stage, journey through the enchanted Hollows for spooky Halloween trail, and enjoy the Wondrous Witches who return with a brand new show for 2019.

Braver visitors can witness some of the darkest and most frightening times in the Castle’s history as live actors and special effects bring these gruesome tales to life, while a new scare maze Dead of Knight will see visitors travel through the depths of the castle as an army of the dead rise with the sunset.
