London Transport Museum explores the story of London and its transport system over the last 200 years, highlighting the powerful link between transport and the growth of modern London, culture and society since 1800. We care for over 450,000 items – preserving, researching and acquiring objects to use in our galleries, exhibitions and other activities. As well as exploring the past, the Museum looks at present-day transport developments and concepts for urban transportation int he future, which includes a contemporary collecting policy for the benefit of future generations.


The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is an independent charity leading the world’s enjoyment and understanding of William Shakepeare’s works, life and times. We care fo the five historic houses and gardens in Stratford-upon-Avon relating to Shakespeare and his family. Each house has its own fascinating tale to tell; seen together they bring to dramatic life the complete Shakespeare story. A range of special interest tours and talks are available including education, garden tours, pre-theatre talks, after-hours visits and behind-the-scenes tours of the Trust’s renowned archive and library collections.


Visit Buckinghamshire and the Chilterns is the Destination Management Organisation working in partnership with over 300 businesses. Providing the idyllic setting that enthrals views of Midsomer Murders, you can also discover steam trains, a model village, National Trust properties, Stowe & Waddesdon and literacy greats including John Milton & Roald Dahl. Explore film & TV and food & drink trails, the countryside and our sporting heritage which includes Silverstone and the Paralympic Heritage museum. Our close proximity to London, coupled with excellent road links, means that you can easily access and discover exciting new destinations.


Visit Bath is the Destination Management Organisation for the city of Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bath’s compact and visitor-friendly centre is overflowing with things to see and do, from museums and galleries showcasing the city’s rich history to plenty of places to eat and drink, and from a vibrant shopping scene to a range of places to stay. Bewl Water is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty located in the heart of the High Weald. Home to the largest stretch of open water in the south east of England and 800 acres of landscape, walkways and woodland- there is plenty to do at Bewl Water.
With a host of activities both on and off the water, visitors can take part in walking, cycling, boat trips across the reservoir, sailing, fishing, laser challenge plus much more! There are two eating establishments on site, The Waterfront Café serving a choice of light meals and hot drinks or The Boat House Bistro, which serves a weekly changing market menu, perched on the water’s edge!


The luxurious 36 bedroom Linthwaite House is situated in 14 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, overlooking England’s largest natural lake, Windermere. Standard in-room facilities include a pod coffee machine, safe, flat screen smart TV and Bose Soundbar. The hilltop location of Linthwaite, makes the terrace and conservatory not only a stylish space to appreciate the gorgeous views, but are perfect areas to indulge in a cocktail, a locally distilled spirit or locally brewed beer. For food, a bar menu is available all day and the wonderful Italian restaurant ‘Stella’ in the evening. On-site activities include boules, croquet, rowing.
