The Crystal Maze LIVE Experience has reopened to welcome visitors back to their London and Manchester venues.

The interactive attractions, based on the popular ’90s TV game show has introduced a new range of ‘crystal-clear’ measures in line with the latest Government guidance to ensure visitors have a fun, immersive experience whilst making safety a top priority.

Guided by a Maze Master, the game sees teams go head-to-head during a dash through the Maze’s multiple zones, competing in a series of tasks and challenges against the clock before entering the iconic Crystal Dome.

New ways of interactive with guests have been introduced to guarantee that visitors experience high levels of safety standards and are clear about new practices. These new measures include:

  • Temporary changes to the group make up. Teams now need to be made up of a single booking (minimum of four people) with no mixing of teams
  • Guests may be asked to take part in non-invasive temperature checks
  • Arrival times will be 30 minutes early and new arrival, waiting and briefing areas have been created to minimise contact with other teams
  • Guests will be provided with face masks and gloves for certain areas of the Maze, and are encouraged to wear face coverings throughout their visit
  • Clear signage and floor markings will help staff and visitors maintain a safe distance from each other within the Maze
  • Reduced capacity to limit the amount of people in the attraction at once to assist with social distancing, and all bookings must be made in advance
  • Enhanced cleaning measures throughout the day, focusing on high frequency touch points
  • Installation of fixed hand sanitiser stations throughout the destination
  • New hygiene screens at counters to separate guests from staff members

Tom Lionetti-Maguire, CEO of Little Lion Entertainment said, “We’re really looking forward to welcoming people back and have designed these crystal-clear guidelines to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff and actors. We have considered carefully how to create an environment that still allows for a brilliant and entertaining experience, whilst allowing us to reopen safely.

“Throughout our attractions guests will be with their assigned Maze Master for the majority of their experience, helping, guiding and instructing guests from start to finish.”
