Rao’s at Rusacks has announced that its seasonal dinner experience will return to Rusacks St Andrews, a Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts® property in Scotland, welcoming guests nightly through 10 October 2026.
Announced in March 2026, Rao’s at Rusacks pairs Rao’s and Rusacks St Andrews, to create a dining experience at the birthplace of golf overlooking the 18th hole of the Old Course. Blending Rao’s legendary tradition with the legacy of Rusacks St Andrews, the residency brings together nearly 130 years of Rao’s history and 140 years of Rusacks St Andrews heritage.

The curated menu celebrates Rao’s cooking, simple, seasonal, and full of flavour, elevated with Scottish ingredients. Rooted in Rao’s signature family-style approach to dining, the menu is designed to encourage gathering and shared experiences around the table, featuring a range of antipasti, house made pastas, and classic entrées, from Rao’s Traditional Meatballs and Seafood Salad to Lobster Fra Diavolo, Salsa Alla Marinara, and Veal Milanese.
The beverage programme complements the menu with a curated selection of international wines, signature cocktails, an extensive offering of Scottish whiskies, and more, balancing timeless favourites with elevated offerings designed to enhance the dining experience.
Rao’s at Rusacks has taken over the hotel’s One Under Bar, an intimate underground dining space, transforming it with the characteristic décor inspired by the original East Harlem eatery. Guests can expect a warm, festive spirit with an atmosphere, complete with Rao’s signature accents, including the brand’s marquee red lettering, vintage photography, and year-round garland and holiday lights, that have made Rao’s a New York institution, set against the rare backdrop overlooking the 18th hole of the Old Course.
Originally announced as a limited residency running through September 2026, Rao’s at Rusacks has extended its run through 10 October 2026, due to demand. The expanded dates coincide with the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, which will take place at the Old Course in October 2026, ensuring visitors making the pilgrimage to the “Home of Golf” have the rare opportunity to experience Rao’s at Rusacks during one of the most celebrated weeks in international golf.
