Since January, Blenheim Palace has been undergoing the largest conservation project in its history. Restoration teams have been working extensively, and with over thirty miles of scaffolding now in place, vital work to protect and restore the roof is underway.
A new Rooftop Viewing Platform experience launched on 24 May and is included in the Palace ticket. This experience offers a rare opportunity to enjoy sweeping views of the Blenheim Estate and see the restoration’s craftsmanship up close.
As part of the essential restoration efforts, ,the main entrance has been temporarily impacted and expected to re-open in early June. Inside the Palace, visitors can now get closer than ever to the Thornhill ceiling, thanks to a specially created replica on display in the Great Hall. The original remains safely covered during the restoration.
