Rosslyn Chapel has updated its Groups Guide and Guide to Private Visits for 2024.

The Chapel, founded in 1446, is located just seven miles south of Edinburgh. It came to worldwide prominence after being featured in The Da Vinci Code but its architecture and medieval stone carvings have attracted and intrigued visitors for generations.

The Chapel welcomes group visits throughout the year and the Groups Guide sets out how daytime visits work. Each day is now split into 90-minute timeslots, for groups and FIT, and each includes an information talk given by one of the Chapel’s guides. Information leaflets, with maps of the main carvings, are available free of charge with translations in English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Russian Swedish, Slovak, Mandarin, Hungarian and Japanese.

Rosslyn Chapel is also available for private evening visits, usually lasting for two hours with the option of refreshments being served afterwards in the visitor centre.
