The National Gallery has announced a range of brand-new themed tours for individual visitors and groups, launching on 3 November 2025.
Alongside its popular Highlights, Impressionism, Heroes & Villains, Women in Art and Royal Tours, guests can now elevate their visit with an exciting selection of new themed experiences.
- Icons of the Italian Renaissance: Journey to the golden age of Italian art and meet the artists who changed Western art forever: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Botticelli, Piero della Francesca, and Titian.
- British Art: Icons & Legends: Encounter sweeping landscapes, grand portraits and biting satire from the likes of Hogarth, Reynolds and Lawrence, in a journey through the best of British Art.
- Northern European Treasures: Go on a journey of discovery during a period of great innovation and virtuosity as art and ideas thrived in the Northern Renaissance. Enjoy world-class works from the hyper-rich realism of Van Eyck to the versatility of Dürer, and from Holbein’s grand ‘Ambassadors’ to Rembrandt’s emotive portraits.
Themed tours are available between 10:00 and 16:00, and for out of hours Private Tours, between 09:00-10:00 or 18:00-19.00.
