The Royal Yacht Britannia will offer exclusive access to the Engine Room, stories from former Royal Butler, “Froggy”, and seasonal treats and a special Christmas gift.
A red carpet awaits as visitors come on board via the Royal Brow, an entrance previously reserved for Queen Elizabeth II and the Royal Family. A personal guide will give guests a insight into the history of the Royal Yacht and how the Royal Family and crew ‘Yotties’ lived and worked on board.
For this special festive occasion, guests will be given an exclusive behind the ropes tour of Britannia’s gleaming Engine Room. While she was in service, Britannia sailed one million nautical miles around the world, equivalent to 46 times around the globe.
Guests will also have the opportunity to meet William French (affectionately known as Froggy), former Royal Butler, and hear his recollections of life on board during a special talk and Q&A session, whilst enjoying festive refreshments. There is a very special gift to takeaway, a memory of visitors time onboard.
Morning and Evening tours are available. Click here for more information.
