The Royal Yacht Britannia, in collaboration with Britannia, will host a series of dining experiences and sundowner gatherings at Commodores House during Cowes Week. The programme brings together a curated selection of locally based suppliers to deliver seasonal food, refreshing drinks, and an easy-going atmosphere right on the water’s edge. Guests can expect warm summer evenings, harbour views, and a social setting.
Commodores House provides a distinctive setting for these events. The venue retains much of its original character and creative spirit. It offers an intimate yet lively space for guests to unwind after a day on the water or immerse themselves in the excitement of the regatta. The programme includes private dining and drinks receptions tailored for groups of 10 to 70 guests, with flexible options designed to suit a range of occasions.
In addition to its hospitality offering, Commodores House will also host “Sailing Through Royal History,” the Trust’s first touring exhibition. Running throughout August, the exhibition explores the longstanding relationship between the Trust, Cowes, and its community, alongside the royal connections that have shaped its legacy. This added cultural dimension provides visitors with an opportunity to engage with Britain’s sailing heritage while enjoying a contemporary event experience. Availability is limited across August, and early booking is advised.
