Following a successful VIP and Media Launch Event on 21 July, TIMEWALK, part of DEMXP London, is now open to the public. The immersive exhibition has already received a host of five-star reviews.
TIMEWALK is the UK’s most comprehensive immersive exhibition, dedicated to the lost civilisations that shaped humanity. Blending immersive environments, historical storytelling and state-of-the-art technology, it transforms 12,000 years of human history into an experience, created by international DEM Museums.
Upon arrival, every visitor will receive a free multimedia audio guide, available in 25 languages, as well as a dedicated children’s version with specially written narration to bring history to life for younger audiences.
The experience begins in the ‘Time-Travel’ Tunnel, immersing visitors in the universal concepts of time, space and water as the source of life.
TIMEWALK takes visitors on a journey through 21 past civilisations, with a special focus on five defining chapters in humanity’s story. Beginning with Göbeklitepe, one of the world’s earliest known civilisations, predating all major known civilisations. The experience flows seamlessly to other influential civilizations; Babylon, Ancient Egypt, the Maya and Rapa Nui.
